Hey everyone!
If you have been on The Dividend Guy Blog last week, you might have seen the new design that we have today. We made several tests and are still trying to improve this “beta version”. Hopefully, everything will run smoothly during this week and I’ll be able to post as usual.
New Design – Same Blog
The reason why we installed a new Design was because we thought the old one wasn’t up-to-date. In fact, it was iimplemented in 2007! There also were new pluggins and functions that we couldn’t run under the old design.
But I remain the only guy writing on the blog and the topics won’t change.
So don’t start panicking thinking that I’ve sold the blog or that there will be other changes to come. In fact, we will now be able to create new sections on the top of the header such as:
Free eBooks (Dividend Investing and 2012 Best Dividend Stocks)
We wanted to have a more professional design that would allow us more flexibility in the future. For example, we will be launching our advanced dividend investing eBook in a few months. We want to feature this article somehow and create a section, but this was impossible under the old design. So, this is why we are changing, I hope you like it!
If there are stuff missing (from the old design), please comment below and help us making The Dividend Guy the best place around!
While We Are at It – We Have A New Mini Site Too!
I’ve been receiving a lot of questions about Canadian REITs. While I’ve covered the topic in the past on The Dividend Guy Blog, I wanted to create a “beginner’s” resource center for those who want to learn how REITs work and how to analyze them. You will learn how to use the AFFO,NAV,LTVand their equivalents if you were looking at a dividend stock.
You can now check out Canadian REIT – The Retiree’s Best Friend. Let me know your thoughts on both our new design and our new site!
I will be back on Wednesday with the normal post schedule.
Take care,
Mike.

Garth the grumpy bear Turner (greaterfool.ca) mentions RIETS a lot but typical for his style he gives very little info.
I myself have this on my todo list

Nice look!
I own a few REITs and love ’em! Wish they would come down in price though. Would like to own some Dundee or Calloway.
