Hum… what can I say… I didn’t sell my house. Last week, I was almost 100% sure to close the deal, but the buyers didn’t move up by a penny from their original offer. Maybe they thought we were stuck between selling our house and doing our RV project… well they guessed wrong! After a night of calculation, I came up with another plan. I’m still leaving, but I’ll keep the house! I’ll explain you this next week!
It was quieter on the blog this week, but not because I didn’t write. In fact, I have to send all my stuff for editing since English is not my mother tongue. My “editor” has plenty of articles on his desk now! Hahaha! There will be lots of content published in the upcoming weeks and I will also start writing for Dividend Mantra!

Wal-Mart Stores, Inc.: Low Prices Have Shares Trading For A 10%+ Discount by Passive Income Pursuit. I agree with him, WMT is trading at a discount right now. This is a great opportunity to add more of this strong dividend payer.
Dividend Gravy bought Amgen (AMGN). I’m not too much into biotech but I like to learn about company I don’t know much about!
My Own Advisor starts a great series about living off dividend for retirement. He interviewed many bloggers (my interview will be there too) and ask them several questions about their dividend investing philosophy. This is a very interesting start!
Dividend Growth Investor wrote 2 articles about Dividend Stocks Versus Growth Stocks (part 1 and part 2). I understand where he is coming from, but I rather select companies bringing both on the table (growth and dividend growth! Hahaha!).
Retire by 40 wrote a very nice piece about his 2 weeks trip in Costa Rica. We went to see a movie about this country this week. It was a family of 5 just like us who went there for 1-2 months. I liked Joe’s post because he’s telling the real thing. It’s not always amazing, sometimes it’s hard to travel with younger children!

Tawcan discussing the endless chase. He writes about how we should enjoy life now as it is instead of waiting for the magical moment of retirement to finally enjoy life. I’ve been doing this for some time since I started to work 4 days a week back in 2009. Now, I’m taking another step toward this great way of appreciating life by leaving with my RV next year. There is no point of not doing what we are passionate about today instead of waiting. I think Tawcan resumes it perfectly here:
