Selecting Stocks to Buy with the Dividend Yield
One method I use, and I know other use as well, to determine when might be a good time to buy a stock is by looking at the historical dividend yield on a company you are interested in purchasing. Each stock that pays a dividend has a historical dividend yield - an average dividend yield that it has paid out on a stock over time.
