Following up on my article last week that covered my first purchase in my children’s tuition fund, I’m updating my portfolio with a second purchase. I actually bought shares of 4 different companies in January, but I thought it was more fun to discuss them over 5 different weeks :-) hahaha! As the market dropped like a rock over the first three weeks of 2016, I looked at some interesting picks for a 10-15 year investment horizon. I purchased 50 shares of Emera (EMA) Investment Thesis As …
20 Strong Dividend Growth Stocks – Rock Solid Ranking Free Report
Last year, I created the Rock Solid Ranking, a dynamic stock ranking list that shows a value for each dividend stock I follow. I’ve worked on calculations that consider several metrics in order to find the best companies among all those on the stock market. New Purchase: MMM
After long procrastination, I’ve finally decided to manage my kids tuition investment account (called an RESP in Canada). In Exactly 5 Months, I’ll Retire
This morning feels both exciting and terrifying: in exactly 5 months, I will take a sabbatical leave in order to travel with my family in an RV trip around North & Central America. During this trip, I seriously intend to retire not temporarily but permanently from the “ordinary life” we all live. From an Ordinary Life to an Extraordinary life I am not different than most folks; at the beginning of each year, I set my goals for the year ahead. But the exercise is a bit different this time …
